Solar Power

Late 2013, OHMIC RESISTORS commissioned solar power  on the roof of our Factory in Minto, NSW. This installation has resulted in approximately a 50% decrease in our annual electricity bill with a corresponding reduction in our carbon footprint_.
Power in excess of factory needs is exported to the electricity grid.

Other OHMIC RESISTORS initiatives include:

• Recycling bins for scrap metal, paper and plastic
• Electronic document storage to minimize paper usage and allied printing costs.
• Regular maintenance of heating/ cooling systems to ensure efficient operation.
